From June to December, there’s a range of seasonal activities to choose from—wine to sailing, self-defense to tarot readings—and more.

June: Natural Wines

Paul Stevens - wine buyer for Bottle House, Madrona - joins us at the Club House for a natural wine tasting, along with a thorough education on the cultivation, processing, and selection of a good funky (and non-funky) glass of natural vino.

Light snicky-snacks and non-alcoholic drinks also provided.

July: Archery

We head up to The Nok-Point in Mountlake Terrace for a group archery lesson, including games, positioning, and target practice. We’ll have a female instructor and all equipment is included.

August: Sailing

Come sail away on Captain Bo’s boat Matilda! We’ll have a quick lesson on dock before boarding this 30ft sailboat and cruising Elliot Bay. You’ll learn ropes, port from bow - and maybe even some sailor songs. Bring a light jacket and your sea legs!

Sept: Lab Dance

Are pole dancing and burlesque just too trendy for you? Me too. But why not learn a good old fashioned lap dance? Join us with certified stripper Jasmine Lebon at PopRox Dance Studio on Cap Hill, get a little background, then learn a few moves. Heels optional.

October: Tarot

The veil is thinning. Join us at the Club House with guest lecturer and professional tarot reader Megan Skinner to learn a little bit about the history of Tarot, the meanings of the cards, and how to do your own spread—along with time to practice with each other.

Nov: Self-Defense

It’s a dangerous world out there—do you know how to stay aware and wield your pepper spray? Join us at the Club House to learn self-defense from Strategic Living , we’ll understand how to become even more unapproachable, and how to best prevent violence—while protecting ourselves and those around us.

Optional: Post-event refreshments on 15th Ave.

December: Teen Feed

Let’s give back together and cook up a nutritious meal for wayward teens at Teen Feed’s U. District location. We can meal prep at the Club House and deliver, or cook in their kitchens. Membership fees pay for all the ingredients and we’ll do the meal planning (and will cater to food sensitivities).
